Barbara Drummond founded Prime Management, Inc. in 1990 to fill a void in the community association industry. Up until that point, southern New Jersey lacked a local, high quality and affordable professional management company that could provide superior service without excessive cost.  For over 25 years, she has kept Prime committed to that mission while expanding the primary coverage area and range of services it offers.  Since inception, Barbara has branded Prime as a leader in innovation to the community association industry and continues to find new and creative ways to bring value-added services to her clients.

In 1995, Prime attained the prestigious AAMC (Accredited Association Management Company) designation, which is earned through a commitment to integrity, continuing education through professional development and the highest ethical standards. It is through Barbara’s unwavering commitment to excellence that this designation was earned.

Barbara began her career in the property management field over 30 years ago as a community manager for several of the Crestwood Village group of communities that totaled several thousand homes. During this time period, she became one of the first CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) credentialed managers in New Jersey. Later, she went on to continue her professional development and earned the coveted PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager) designation, the highest designation achievable in the community association management industry.  Barbara continues to advance her education through professional development and is considered one of NJ’s experts in community association management.  Barbara is also a member of CAI-NJ’s Legislative Action Committee, which is a committee of the Community Associations Institute national board focusing on legislation that effects community associations in NJ and around the country.

Barbara is also an accomplished educator and a regular speaker at Community Association Institute lectures and seminars. She has served as a panelist for the Senior Summit held annually; an in-service event that focuses on the 55+ active adult segment of the community association industry. She is highly respected and knowledgeable in all areas of community association management.

In addition to her work with homeowner boards, Barbara works regularly with local, regional and national developers and builders consulting on new communities in the planning and building phases. Her experience and knowledge helps developers in the initial planning phases and throughout development to be successful and avoid risk as new communities come to fruition.

Barbara welcomes the opportunity to sit down and talk with prospective clients about their needs for community management and believes that we must earn our existing clients’ business every day. It is this perspective that keeps her at the top of the industry year after year.

In her spare time, Barbara is an avid concert-goer and enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.

Christopher Nicosia is the Operations Manager of Prime Management bringing fifteen years of experience in residential and commercial property management and developer consulting to the position.  Prior to him assuming the role of Operations Manager for the company, Chris was the community manager of a large 55+ active adult community within the Prime Management portfolio.  Before joining the Prime team, Chris was an executive for a mid-sized property management company in New Jersey and has experience at various levels of corporate and community management.  In his career, he has managed over 50 communities ranging from apartment conversions to high-rises, beachfront condominiums to fee simple Homeowners’ Associations.

Active in the community association industry, Chris is a member of the Community Associations Institute, currently serves on the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Chapter and was formerly the Vice Chair of the Managers Committee and a member of the Editorial Committee responsible for editing Community Trends, an industry periodical.  He has also been published in Community Trends on topics relating to Energy Efficiency, LED Lighting, Budgeting, Reserves and Financial Fitness.  Chris holds the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) certification, the Association Management Specialist (AMS) designation and the coveted Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation.  His dedication to the industry and commitment to education helped earn the Managers Committee the prestigious “Committee of the Year” award by CAI-NJ during his tenure as Vice Chair in 2017.

Chris received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with a Minor in Music from Rutgers University in 2004.  While at Rutgers, he was active with several organizations, including an officer and soloist of the Rutgers University Glee Club, Rutgers Kirkpatrick Choir, was an active member of the Student Judicial Affairs Board and was a member of the Code of Student Conduct Appeals Committee.

In 2008, he completed graduate studies earning a Master of Management degree from the University of Phoenix located in Phoenix, Arizona.  During his graduate studies, Chris authored over 75 peer-reviewed papers on topics of management, problem solving and corporate strategy.

Chris is also a classically trained vocalist (tenor) and routinely performs throughout the NJ-NY-PA area with regular appearances at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in NYC, NJPAC, the Academy of Music in Philadelphia and other prestigious venues.  He has had the opportunity to sing all over the world, including performances in various venues throughout Europe, Canada and the US.

Chris is a certified Emergency Medical Technician and member of the Barnegat First Aid Squad.  Additionally, Mr. Nicosia received training in Paramedic Sciences and is certified in CPR for Healthcare Providers, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and has completed two years of training and education in advanced pre-hospital healthcare.  He has also received training and certification in the Incident Command System  (ICS) – National Incident Management System (NIMS) as directed by the US Department of Homeland Security as well as Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings; a certification that allows him to teach emergency service personnel about responding safely to the scenes of terrorist attacks.

Chris resides at the shore in Barnegat with his wife Nicole, their son, Benjamin and their Boxer, Laila Mae.

Crystal Fitzpatrick brings over 15 years of accounting and auditing experience to the Prime Management team. Before joining Prime, she was a Senior Manager at a large regional public accounting firm focusing on primarily on audit and tax compliance services for not-for-profit organizations, governmental authorities and associations.

Crystal earned a Bachelors Degree in accounting from Stockton University and a Masters Degree in professional accounting from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.

She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Jersey, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA).

Crystal enjoys volunteering in her local community and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ocean County. Crystal resides in Lanoka Harbor, NJ with her husband Edward, two daughters, Kayla and Paige and cat Kody.

Carly Greco is the Human Resources Coordinator and Executive Assistant to Prime Management, Inc.’s President, Barbara Drummond.  Carly assists the president with day to day operations of multiple communities and also administers the company’s payroll, benefits and retirement plan. Prior to her current role, she processed Accounts Payable for the company and filled various other administrative roles.

Before joining the Prime Management team over 13 years ago, Carly worked for several years in the medical field for a primary care physicians’ group and later for Southern Ocean County Hospital, where she was responsible for verifying insurance coverage of patients requiring high cost radiological testing.  She is also a certified nail technician and worked part time in a salon for 15+ years.

Carly currently has a NJ Real Estate Salesperson license, a NJ Manicurist license, a Pharmacy Technician certificate and is currently a Notary Public of New Jersey.  She enjoys gardening, reading and going to car shows with her husband.

Linda Huftalen joined the Prime Management team in 2014 as an onsite Community Manager bringing over a decade of property management experience to the position.  Prior to assuming her role at Prime, Linda worked for 36 years at AT&T in Finance, Administration, Economics and Project Management.

Linda is a member of CAI and previously a member of the NAFE.  She has her New Jersey Elementary Education license.  Additionally, Linda completed graduate studies earning a Masters degree in Business Administration.  While in college, she tutored college students in the business field.

Linda resides in Toms River with her two canine children (Yochons), Roxi and Scooby.  She has two grown sons and an adorable grandson.  When not working, she enjoys collecting, crafts and travels whenever she can.

Gloria Slipoy joined Prime Management as an onsite Community Manager in May 2015 bringing 25 years of property management experience to the position. Gloria started her career in the community management industry in 1990 as the Executive Director of the Institute of Real Estate Management Chapter No. 1. During her career, she has managed Section 8 senior citizen buildings, commercial properties, luxury high rise buildings, active adult communities and large scale condominium associations. In 1994, Gloria received the President’s Key Award from the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Throughout her 25-year career, Gloria has successfully negotiated Association Municipal Services Agreements, assisted with successful transition negotiations and successfully managed contract negotiations resulting in cost savings and improved services to the associations she served. She is excited to be working with the Board of Trustees at Saratoga to assist in the establishment of new procedures and to accomplish its goals.

Gloria currently resides in Ocean County and is the mother of two grown sons.   During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, boating, traveling and relaxing in her own back yard on the water.

Ed Anderson joins the Prime Management team bringing with him over fifteen years of property management experience.

Ed’s first onsite condominium community consisted of 446 units which he managed for several years.  He changed management companies to explore new opportunities and managed another onsite community in the Somerset County area which consisted of two communities encompassing over 600 units.  Ed successfully managed both communities for seven (7) years. Just prior to joining the Prime team, Ed managed an active adult community in Monroe Township.

Ed pursued CAI education early on in his career and earned his Certified Manager of Community Associations certification (CMCA) in 2003 followed by the Association Management Specialist designation (AMS) in 2004.

Ed is very excited to be with Prime Management and looks forward to the opportunity. Ed lives with his wife Diane and has been married for 37 years. They have four grown children and five grandchildren with another one on the way.

Darlene Anderson began with Prime in 2008 and brings over 18 years experience in the real estate industry to her role. Her extensive background in real estate sales, real estate development and home design has helped her be successful in her position as Assistant Community Manager.

In this role, Darlene provides support to the Community Manager with all the day to day operations, community website updates and also works in conjunction with various committees to accomplish projects for the Association. She is known for her polite demeanor and focus on exceptional customer service.

Joann DeMarco has been with Prime Management, Inc. since 2005 as our accounts receivable associate in the corporate office.  In addition to her accounts receivable duties, she also handles all closing paperwork for home sales on behalf of every community in the Prime portfolio.  Joann takes great pride in the work that she does for our residents and has received commendations from them during her tenure.

Throughout Joann’s 13 years with Prime Management, she has built a reputation for providing superior customer service to our clients as well as strong support to our community managers in the field.

When not at work, Joann enjoys time with her family and friends.  She loves animals and is quite involved in helping with animal rescues and lost animals. She is also a motorcycle enthusiast as well as an antique car show competitor.

Leanne Roessler has been working part-time at Prime Management since 2004.  She fulfills many functions in the corporate office, including her primary role as Prime’s Housing for Older Persons Act Compliance Associate.  In this role, she is responsible for ensuring all census data is obtained and maintained for our entire portfolio of 55+ communities in compliance with federal law.

Throughout Leanne’s 12-year tenure with Prime Management, she has built a reputation for stellar customer service.  She frequently travels off-site to help out in various communities and enjoys getting out from behind her desk to work with the residents in our communities.

Embracing the core values of integrity, innovation and superior customer service,  Leanne is an integral part of the Prime family.  When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, cooking, yoga, reading, running, gardening and her dogs.
